Our vision is to create a positive, fun and memorable experience for dancers, instructors and families alike and to have all participants challenged and inspired by one another. We aim to provide interactive, innovative and genuine events for all dancers to learn, grow and share their talents.

Groove began in 2011 with very small and humble roots. Daniel DeFranco, our CEO, began with a desire to create an event that not only provided an amazing experience and excellent service, but also one that set the bar high for the dance industry. Our very first office was at Daniel's mother's kitchen table. We eventually moved into a home office, followed by a 1,500 sq/ft office/warehouse and, finally, to our current (and hopefully permanent) home in Ocean, NJ residing in a 16,000 sq/ft office/warehouse combination.
Groove's first touring season hosted 9 regional competitions and about 1,200 dancers. Last season, we saw approximately 17,000 dancers cross our stage! In 2017, we will be hosting 43 events!
While Groove has grown very quickly over the last six years, our focus has never been on size, but rather, QUALITY. We want our competitors, directors, parents, teachers and employees to have nothing short of an outstanding experience. We strive to continue to learn, grow and challenge the current environment.
The last six years have been an amazing experience for our team and we are so honored and humbled that the dance industry has welcomed us with open arms. We cannot wait to see what the future will bring!
