Megz's Highlights

Megan "Megz" Alfonso began her dance training at Michelle Ferraro's Dance USA after moving to Long Island, NY. For the past 25 years she has dedicated her time to teaching dance classes. 

Megz gained notoriety with the television show “So You Think You Can Dance” where she became a top 6 finalist. She has traveled all over the U.S. and U.K. touring with Deca Dance Company and Matrix/Loreal. 

One of Megz many accomplishments includes assisting choreographers Nick Zobrowski, Shelia Barker and Cynthia Geffon. Megz was an extra in the movie "Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist," choreographed and danced for "The Voice" singer, Raquel Castro, and appeared in the movie, "Step Up."  In addition, she performed a piece entitled “Four Seasons” at the Hip Hop festival for London brought to New York. 

Megz aspires to continue training and bettering herself as a dancer, teacher and choreographer so that she can achieve all of her goals for her future and inspire others to do the same.
