Jen Cali graduated from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance. In college, she focused on ballet and modern, as well as a serious concentration on her choreography skills. She has been teaching dance for over 20 years and is the Assistant Director at a studio. She teaches all ages and styles of dance, as well as being a coach for their competition teams.
Jen was a competitive rhythmic gymnast for most of her childhood and has been on the competition dance scene both as a competitor and, now, as a national award-winning choreographer. Her dancers have held national titles, as well as gone on to perform professionally in many different aspects of the dance world. She has choreographed for Dancers Responding to AIDS benefit shows that have been held on both the East and West Coast.
Additionally, Jen has performed in many local theater shows and has choreographed for children's theater productions. Jen has been with Groove since the beginning and has choreographed for Groove's Opening Numbers at their National Finals in Atlantic City. Jen is extremely passionate about what she does and is very excited to be a part of Groove as it continues to grow.
